I'm sure if you tried hard enough and you knew enough about computers you could do it! Solder is your friend!

Wow, I didnt actually think this thread would last this long. Anyways...

An emulator is only a program. Im pretty sure that no program is illegal, only the misuse of programs. Emulators arent illegal at all. The ownership of a ROM for over 24 hours unless you personally own the game is illegal.

And to answer the OPs question, it is possible, but you would need an DVI in for it to work. To get a DVI in i suppose one of the convertors mentioned earlier would work. However, if it didnt, then the only other way I know how to do it would be to modify the LCD controller in your laptop, which its difficult, and will void your warranty.

In conclusion, use a TV and use Google.

There is nothing wrong with posting on a forum to ask other people's opinions on things now is there? Google may be your friend but other people might prefer to get opinions from others.

In his original post, he didnt ask for peoples opinions. He simply asked if it was possible to play his Xbox using his Laptop as a display. Google would have saved him and everybody else alot of trouble. I could understand maybe if it was a question about resolution or clarity and what people thought. But it was simply a possibility question.

Well people asking those types of questions may annoy you but not necessarily others, so perhaps it's best if you avoid those kind of threads.

Not being funny but we are trying to encourage new members here not pack them off with a flea in their ear for daring to ask people a genuine question.

I suppose I could try to avoid these treads, although I do find them extremely unnecessary. Unless its not something that can easily be found on Google.
