Sony's Mistake

In my opinion, the later they release the PS3, the less customers they're going to get. I saved up enough money for a PS3 (at the rumored price), but it was delayed a bit. Now I am discouraged to get it, and also quite a few of my friends have 360 and play online. Now I am pressured to get 360 and live to play with them. What do you think?

I think what u say is quite true but I think the release of the 360 was rushed for Christmas and I would like to know that My PS3 was developed as much as possible. One thing that comes to mind about the late release been a good thing is that the PS3 will come with an in built BlueRay DVD player allowing it to play the next generation DVDs if u own a 360 that’s another purchase for yaw and am guessing it won’t be cheap. I think when its finally released its quality will sell it just fine.

I think that if you buy consoles when they come out, you come to expect launch dates to be pushed back. I don't think it really affects the majority of their buyers, since most people who will be buying a ps3 are going to be veteran PS buyers.

As far as feeling pressured to get a 360- well it depends on what you want out of a console. For me, I can't stand xbox controllers, but I feel like I was born with a PS controller in my hand so w/e. I guess you should look at the titles being developed for both systems, and decide which one sounds like the one you will want more in the long run.

Yeah, the way to decide between wat consoles u want, is wat interests u the most (features, games). But if u really really cannot wait, then buy a xbox360. It's worth the money, trust me, and so is xboxlive. But if u can wait, then see how the ps3 does with its games, and how the performance of the console is itself.

I dont see the point of bluray dvds.... jus go watch movies in the theatre or jus watch it on a regular tv. If ur in for the special effects, which u think bluray can acheive best, go to the theatre, the screen is freakin huge!! :eek: Bluray is a waste of money, unless u have money to waste.

^^ im thinking of getting a Rev next, and that's the last console until the next generation or the time ps4 comes out. Right now tho, its all about my xbox360:cool:

Yep same with me I think I'll get the Rev next then I'll get a PS3 when the price comes right down.
