I do not know if there are any old-school Everquest players here, but one thing that comes up time and time again in discussions is how some people would love to re-live the early days of Everquest. I started playing the game about a week after launch and that first year was a pretty magical time in the game.
Anyways, they are preparing to launch a new server that is called a "Progression Server". It will start with only the original Everquest available, then as the server meets certain goals (taking down certain boss mobs etc), it will open up the next expansion. This will continue on and on until it catches up to the modern day. A lot of people are pretty excited about this and it should be fun to at least check out.
