Graphics Cards!? :|

Hey all!

Just wondering if any of you can help me choose the best graphics card for my pc

i'm limited to only pci slots :\

so i cant get the most up to date card unfortunately, but do any of you know of any good cards for gaming for pci slots?

is yours a PCI x16 slot? it most likely is. so you can get 8600 GT and i'd recommend it as well.

check the documentation for your PC.

i think its SLI and PCI compatible, get the 512mb version to get the most out of it

google the make of your PC and model if you bought it from a large company. I got mine from Dell ages ago and they still keep the documentation on their website.

If you are stuck with only PCI and not PCI-e then I believe your best bets would be either a Radeon x1300 or an nVidia 6200. there is also a Radeon x1550 but I dont know if that exceeds the x1300. Im not that familiar with Ati gear. Not that Im an nVidia fanboy...just that the last 4 times I have purchased video cards.....nVidia just so happened to have the best bang for the buck at the time. I happen to like the Catalyst driver interface. So you dont have AGP or PCI-e? maybe you should upgrade more then just video. :p
