Here is a review.
Crysis is certainly the performance killer, as even the 8800M-GTX is brought to its knees in this game. I have seen higher FPS in this game using other 8800M-GTX systems; Alienware is using slightly different 167.55 drivers. I assume a driver update would fix the Crysis performance. Unfortunately as of writing, no drivers but the included ones are compatible with the 8800M-GTX. Until then, Crysis players will have to turn down the system settings and play the game in DirectX 9 mode to get playable performance.

1. if u want a gaming system get a desktop pc instead of a laptop
2. laptops are more expencive and can be quite hard to repair, upgrade, etc...
3. u can buy the same parts as on the alienware laptop and build ur own pc and will be a lot cheaper
4. the most expensive isnt allways the best

Laptops are just not for games !
Get a desktop pc, and get a 64bit system, especially good for high end gaming, crysis will crush a laptop.

In all fairness...I have to say though...Kudos to nVidia for even being able to shrink the 8800's g92 chipset down enough to fit in a laptop. My 8800gt is damn near the size of a laptop...lol
