Right off the bat my guess would be that you have a SATA drive and XP doesn't have drivers built into the install for your SATA controller. Find out if you do have a SATA drive. If so, find out What chipset you have for your SATA controller. If you have a board that was made after the release of your windows install this is likely the case. If that's it...you will have to have a third party driver floppy disk. If your motherboard didn't come with one you'll have to get these drivers off the net. At either rate, Ill need more info before I can help you.

Didnt install completely ive had tat problem before i had to reinstall twice.
