MSNBC.com has a poll to see how many are willing, and not willing, to pay $499 for the upcoming PlayStation 3. Are you willing to?

If it's a brilliant console with great games mabe but no I'm happy with my 360 I'm going to wait for the wii.

If I happen to get some extra money maybe from tax returns then yes but most likely I will wait two years for the price to drop below $300 also that way there will be a good selection of games and any bugs will be worked out with revisions and firmware updates like with the PS2

I wouldnt pay $500 for any console, let alone the $600 package, unless i was rich. There really is no point to pay $100 more for the ps3 when it's pretty much the same as the xbox360,technically speaking and gamewise speaking (games).

I have noticed that game wise Microsoft are doing really well they now have:

SEGA - Every sega game will be re - released ( with better graphics and whatever of course ) on the 360,

Rare - Rare have left Nintendo and are now making sequals to there classic games on the 360 ( Banjo kazzoie 3, Perfect dark, )

Rockstar - Yes even Rockstar have joined MS and they are working on a new GTA for 360.
