Hmmm.....

I like some in the Pokemon series, but excluding them, Super Mario Advance 4, Metroid Fusion, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Advance Wars, Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem are all good too.

Yeah I'd have to say the Pokemon Series as well. To train and build up a character is the best aspect of a video game I believe.

I'd say Advance Wars 2 for the challenge (Nothing beats victory on hard campaign)
Pokemon games are good as well due to the lifespan.
If you never had a Snes then I'd also advise Link to the Past.

The megaman battle network serius is pretty good too except I don't think you can buy it anymore.

Trust me. You can buy any game if you look hard enough.

Not one of my favourite series of games, but it's not terrible. I always prefered the 8-bit Megaman games, and the X series.
