well war is a pretty broad term to use for games.
i like rome total war and dawn of war and call of duty 2 etc
define war!
i dunno if crysis counts as "war" but apart from that probably the best looking is medieval 2, its supposed to look superb, but i dont know.

Lol, you know what Shooting Palanx I havnt even played Halo...
It looks really cool. seen heaps of clips for halo. just never played.

I like Battlefield 2 and KillZone is really addictive but a little to easy.
Im going to add heaps of online war games to my site.

Anyone know some really cool online flash war games?? or should I write another post for that?

if you like action-packed single player first person shooters that are as good as watching Die Hard films or Rambo slash Predator, then you'd enjoy Crysis. of course you'd have to have access to a decent PC. i went to gaming centre to play this game. on high graphics settings, the game is actually more fun to play as well as looking better.

North & South! Yes, the classic 80s game set during the american civil war.

Crap graphics, but honestly who cares when games are fun??? Only weirdo's with not much going on in their lives.

If you'd call Star Wars: Republic Commando a war game, that'd be the one I vote. It's brilliantly made. If now however, I found Rome: Total war fairly good.

i wouldnt say that crysis is a war game since they arent at war with anyone lol

From the WW2 FPS games Medal of Honer was GREAT! Return to Castle Wolfenstein was also great.. actually these 2 restarted the WW2 gaming movement if I remember well. They remain in my favs. Later on Battlefield was very nice..
As for Military Strategy games C&C3 in Supreme commander left me a very good impression.
