I would go for the Ati one since it has more memory. I heard Asus is pretty powerfull and expenisive, It has less memory and it will be a problem to run games with 384 MB since most of the new ones need 512 minimum. Pixel Shader is also important. Pixel Shader 3.0 is required to play the new ones.. if you buy a graphics card with 4.0 (PS) you will be able to play them with better performance and you won't need to upgrade the graphics card when games with Pixel Shader 4.0 requirement come out. Direct X 10 is needed to play games like Crysis or Assassins Creed.

personally i prefer ati cards.
ebuyer.com is slightly cheaper than overclockers uk also.
i actually have two crossfire cards im selling (sapphire X1950 GDDR3 256MB) and in crossfire mode play basicly everything out there no probs including crysis with a mix of med-high settings).
i only used them for about 3 months before i upgraded to two HD3870(512MB-GDDR4), 4 weeks ago then upgraded again to two HD4870(512MB-GDDR5) cards.

so if your interested drop me an email with an offer.
or I might be tempted to part with my HD3870 cards and keep the x1950's for my 2nd pc.

im gonna say the ATI one, because i know the gs gpu is weak, plus it has more memory and stream processors

If you can increase your budget a bit you can get an ATI 3850 now which are excellent for gaming (as I own one, it runs pretty much everything at high/very high settings). Or you could probbaly get an 8800GT which are also excellent but maybe just a bit more expensive than the 3850.
Out of those two cards I would definitely say buy the 3650 though, it has more video memory so if you are wanting to run games at resolutions higher than 1280x1024 you shouldn't have a problem and it has a faster core clock speed (it doesn't list the memory clock speeds for that card for some reason). It also has more stream processes aswell which will improve the cards peformance.
