I know this is somewhat popular on some other PC Hardware boards, and I was curious if any of you would be interested in starting a thread containing our computer's benchmark scores. And if so which one(s)? (Think 3DMark06, Vantage etc.)

EDIT: I think I'll go ahead and post a recent run of 3DMark06 I had with my 2900XTs, maybe this will put some life into this thread.

Q6600 @ 3.76GHz (470x8) + 2 HD 2900XTs @ 940/1075

If you don't have 3DMark06, you can download it here (http://www.futuremark.com/download/3dmark06/), along with any other futuremark product.

Ive clocked my rig a little higher today:

Ram corsair 800MHz @ 857MHz
CPU E8400 1333FSb 3000MHz @ 3870MHz (core2 duo) = 28% overclock.

Front Side Bus Properties
FSB running @ 1712.3 = 29% overclock.
Bus Width 64-bit
Real Clock 428 MHz (QDR)
Effective Clock 1712 MHz
Bandwidth 13696 MB/s

Memory Bus Properties
Real Clock 428 MHz (DDR)
Effective Clock 856 MHz

Ive also overclocked my graphic cards higher than the ATI Tool lets you to 810MHz GPU Clock

Any bench results with the higher clocks?

DL some of the 3DMarks Halo, and compare them to the rest of ours. Also I have to comment, that is an extremely good chip you have their, as far as X2 6000+ chips go. Is it actually prime stable at 1.376v? According to the Overclocking World Record Database, that is the 13th fastest clocked chip in the world (On air I Presume?).

That is awesome.

how do i do the 3Dmarks thing? i´ve never actually come across many people that have a 6000+...... and 1.376v is the stock volt and is stable. so im 13 in the world heh?

That is where you get them. 3DMark01, although discontinued, is still used a lot today, and is worth downloading. Also I would update my GPU drivers before running any of the 3DMarks.

I forgot that the stock vcore for X2 procs was pretty high, at least by Intel standards. One reason that your CPU is ranked so high is because not a whole lot of people worked to get X2 WRs, as I believe that was around the time that the Conroes came out. Enjoy your #13 rank :D .

its kinda a large file to download, and im not blessed with a very good conection, i think i´ll leave it, sorry guys. oh and what position do you rank on the database?

Me and my Proc. don't rank, simply because the E8500 is such a popular processor. The last time I checked, the world record for the E8500 was around 6.6GHz, set by Team Japan, which was also the C2D WR, and may still be.

To be honest I haven't even had the time to start OCing my proc.

I have took my system a lot further.

Firstly i decided to upgrade my bois to make my maximus formula think it is a Rampage.

I managed to work out why my clocks didnt go as high as i wanted until i realised I should change the multiplier from X9 to X8.

I think it could go higher, but i will wait until i have made the change to water even though i think you will agree my temps are pretty good for an air cooled system.
i have run stability/stress tests for about 6 hours and so far so good.

and here are my new clock settings:
CPU now @ 4Ghz *** CPU temp 32-38 degrees ***
Bus Speed 500.0Mhz
FSB 2000.0Mhz

I thought i would show my bios settings also:
I ran two simultanious stress tests for 14 hours and had no errors or heat issues.
