hello there can some please tell me why everytime i start a skimish game and in the first min i blow up and game over , thanks

that sounds a fail. presumeably your getting nuked? we need more details. maybe you set a victory limit of 1 minute

Sounds like either something is corrupt or you have set the game settings to something a human player cant handle without tons of experience but even then it would be hard to handle.
An example would be fastest speed and hardest difficulty.

no its on easy and i dont even get a chance to build the first building , and happens even on a lan game , it just blows up like somthing has nuke me , but im sure that is hasent , and even playing on lan it blows up both teams ,
it just says when it blows me up i have been defeated ,

i downloaded a pacth , update one my friend told me to get , but when i try installing it , it cant set the path and got to open a file , if that helps ??

If the game is corrupt you will need to buy a new copy of it.

thanks everyone for your help my mate got the same game install that and use my own cd key and use my cd to play it , its working all good now thanks

The same key should not have caused a problem like that normally it would just say someone else is using that key.
Anyhow this thread is now useless i think it should be closed now.
