Just bought this game last night, I saw the screen shots of rygar, and it looked like the nes version with better graphics. This game plays completly different :( , and its a lot harder. Although I do enjoy Solomons key.

The arcade version of Rygar is quite difficult to play but I have always liked it. The NES conversions of popular Tecmo games were always changed for the home players.

i've played the ps2 version of rygar...it was pretty entertaining..though the monosters in the dungeons were pretty repetitive, the bosses were great...how's it compare to the old arcade version of rygar?

I haven't played the ps2 version of rygar, but am looking forward to picking it up.

My advice would be to play the original arcade version via downloading MAME.

it's funny how lots of people thought that this would be good...but when it came out and got reviewed...everybody has got something bad to say about it, haha...especially the 30 dollar price point

They usually have all new releases on sale, and have large quatites. Those stores are huge, I prefer to go there over BB or Circuit city.
