Hi, I just got brought a DS Lite (which i think is great! :D ) and i'm interested in gettin the animal crossing game. The thing that is putting me off abit is that i don't know anyone else with a ds so how do i start chatting to people on there?

Animal Crossing is a huge amount of fun even if you don't do a lot of the online play...which I don't. I've ventured into other people's towns a few times, but it's not neccessary.

well even though its not neccassary to go to peoples towns its still a ton of fun

If you want cool exclusive items from Nintendo, you have to connect to someone else's town via Wi-Fi every so often. A few weeks ago I got some bottle mail from them, a bulletin board posting, and a new print for clothing, lol. They used to give out exclusive items that way. So, it's good to use Wi-Fi if you have the chance!
