I do, and I love it. You would rather play on a larger screen? Then don't come to the "handhelds" forum. Me, I love portability, I can take my games anywhere.

which "version" is the one that can play "homebrew software" i heard it was like 1.5 or something...
i was just wondering so that if i get a psp, i wont update to a higher version...the homebrew thing seems like one of the biggest draws

I dont think they're out yet in the UK. But I think there out v.soon. Not sure If i will go out and get one. Dependent on what you can do with it, specifcations and what games are like on it.

I wouldn't mind one but i don't know if i'd ever play it as i hardly get enough time to play with what i have already (Xbox & PC).

I have one (bought it on N.A. launch day). I enjoy it, but I haven't been playing games on it much because I haven't gotten any new games for it (I only have the three I bought at launch time). I upgraded to 2.0 (I don't care for the homebrew) and the internet browser is pretty good. I only have one computer in the house, so it's nice to surf the internet before I go to bed.

I would like one, but probably won't ever get one, because I'm perpetually backed up on games I want without having an extra system. I also wouldn't consider it till it drops to at least $150. $200+ with $40+ games for a portable system doesn't sit well with me.

If I won one, or someone gave me one, I certainly would use it, but I'm not the prime demographic for any handheld. I just don't have occasion to use it much, and like was said earlier, if I'm at home gaming, I want to play on a 'bigscreen'.
I'm also a little disconcerted by Sony's pushing the 'media' aspects of the PSP. The UMD movie thing seems more than a little silly to me, personally.
Though I've never bought a new Nintendo console, the DS is looking more attractive to the PSP [again, if I were in the market for a handheld]. It seems to be focusing more on unique, entertaining games. But these opinions are just from what I've seen in 'browsing.'

I got mine luckily the day before the official UK release and I am very impressed with it.
The UMD movies are a waste of time but when I can get it to work the internet browser will be pretty cool.
The problem is as with all handhelds that the vast majority of games released for it will be remakes of old PS2 games with very few unique games.
Its the same with the DS and is the reason I took my DS back to the store the day after I bought it. I really couldn't be bothered to put tons of hours back into a game (Mario DS) that I have already played to death.
Still I have had my PSP for 1 week today and I am still enjoying playing it and I am looking forward to some of the unique games that will be released for it.

Lumines looks too much like Tetris but Mercury now this is interesting. I will certainly look towards buying this one when its in the shops. I went out today and bought World snooker challenge for my amazing little PSP which I know is a remake of a console game but on the PSP it looks amazing amd the controls and game play are excellent. I also bought a wireless router which will be here in a few days so I can take it online.:D
