Just wondering if anyone decided to camp out a store to get one. I payed mine off this weekend and ebgames will be opening up at 8 am. Anyone else pick one up?

hasnt come out yet where i am but my gf is picking ours up so i have to wait till tommarow ><

I'm not, but a lot of people I know did. My mom was at my local Best Buy this morning (not for the Xbox 360) and she noticed that all premium packs are sold out. There were a lot of clueless parents that bought the core system instead (I'd feel sorry if the kids wanted the premium pack).

IF I wanted to get an Xbox 360, I doubt my dad would've liked it, especially with all the media about it (it's been on the news for the past few days). He actually went to my room and counted all the video game consoles I have and told me I couldn't get another one yet, especially since the 360 was $500. I doubt I could hide something like that from him.

unfortunately not...i was told that people had been waiting at my walmart since 7 am the day before the launch...pretty hardcore...

these babies are sellin like hotcakes on ebay though...one auction went as high as 1625 bucks!!! :rolleyes: :eek:

Well, i picked mine up today, there was no line and only a couple of people at ebgames. It was about 8:30am. I was planning on selling it but I couldn't resist I had to play it :D

I bought pd0 saturday and only picked up Kameo today. There are no charge kits,no Call of duty 2 or Quake4. I might check walmart after work.

i went today to Best buy to pick up something and i saw CoD2...that doesnt do you much good, but still :p

how is pd0, the gamespot review makes it look so awesome! are people playing online yet? :)

yea looks pretty sweet, but IMO... theres jus something about pd0 that brings it down in my list of games i want... maybe it has something to do with the enviroments, graphics, or something i dont kno...:confused:

Finally picked up COD 2, I almost bought quake but held off, thats enough for now :D I've only beat the first level in pd0 and cod2. I haven't been able to play because of work, mostly my brothers been playing during the day.

Finally picked up COD 2, I almost bought quake but held off, thats enough for now :D I've only beat the first level in pd0 and cod2. I haven't been able to play because of work, mostly my brothers been playing during the day.

i was wondering why you were playing the 360 all day long, haha :)

There is no such thing as an Xbox 360 without Halo 3 in my eyes... the true release date will be when that wonderful work of art hits the shelves.

to be honest, that is probably when i will get a 360 as well...there arent many games that intrigue me right now for the 360 besides a few and i doubt there will be that many that intrigue me until a year or so has passed...i can wait ;)

i'm just happy that people on the normal xbox can play with those on the 360 on Live backwards compatible games like halo 2 :p

Yea... and the sad thing is that I probably will not buy the PS3 on launch because I will be buying the xbox 360 and halo 3. ;)

For... coincidentally the only reason that I will be purchasing the PS3 is for MGS4... which I seriously doubt will be a launch title.

i will wait to see if there is another Twisted Metal for the ps3...if not, i doubt i will buy it any time even remotely close to launch :/

you do not know how pissed I am that Incognito did not make another TM game..i have been waiting for like 3 years for a sequel to TM:B!!!!:mad:

i know that they are working on a warhawk game for ps3 (which many people are really wanting), but they said that they may not do a TM game for a while :( hope they change their mind

ahhh yes TM:B.... haha remember we use to spend hours playing that game over at my house chris? we would always plan out strategies before we played, even tho we've beaten the game so many times hahha, jus to unlock the little movies :p :p goodtimes goodtimes.

im mostly loooking forward to 'Halo3' and 'ut2007' for right now..

i would only get ps3
1) if i had money to spend like that
2) for only a couple of the games
3) mostly for its value

oh yea, UT2007 is gonna be the hot fire...i think it's for PC, xbox360, and ps3...
