to each their own...PS has some advantages such as the most games, etc. and some disadvantages such as graphics and their handling of online play...

The PS2 has more games and a better controller.

The xbox has more power and better platform games.

Oh and allow me to point out the the Xbox was a failed venture by microsoft... they lost hundreds of millions of dollars on it... they didn't make a single cent of profit. The PS2 on the other hand has made sony a bundle.

meh..i dont really like them...lots of their products are cool for like 10 days, then the defects start to show..

Most first generation consoles have bugs... the xbox used to burst into flames if you left it on too long. (True)

That is why you always wait at least 6 months after release. :)

wow.... anyways, it doesnt really matter that microsoft lost money on xbox cuz billgates is the richest man in the world, so yea. i think the xbox was a good thing for microsoft anyways, tho there are dis/advantages as someone said before, that's the only way the company is gonna grow. Playstation3 will have problems as well, they did with their prototypes.. lots of problems! but that's jus wat new technology does.. they blow up and stuff :) You cant really compare and say something sucks cuz in the end, everything has disadvantages/adv.

u know playstation have his own adventage that xobox and nintendo dont have and its the same for the 2 other. It depends what type of game u like to play. ny way i stop playing with those type of platform to play world of warcraft on my computer :cool: nothing is better then a computer.

I've got all my eggs in the ps3 basket. Hopefully it won't freeze, will be faster online, and will have just as good graphics as the other unmentionables

Come on now the controller is perfect. :D Ive only played the xBox a few times and its a nice system and all but playstation was the start of a revolution, atleast in my opinion.

yea i really liked the playstation, tho it was really the only system i had around to play back then. I wouldnt say the controller is perfect... not compared the the x360 :D now thats perfect, but thats a different story.

im more of a nintendo addict as on my lunch break i leave an hour early and play the gamecube for 2 hours before returning to work but anyway
PS2 has brought many great titles into our lives
several final fantasy games
the metal gear series(snake eater rules)
and if you look for a game called guitar hero that is a cool controller
in conclusion PS2 is Great and doesnt suck

I would say that the ps2 is a decent console. it brought many great games and game series such as jak, ratchet and clank, devil may cry and onimusha. the worst of the last generation consoles was xbox as most games were also released on ps2. there were only a few good xbox exclusive games such as halo 2 and ninja gaiden.

let me just say this ==> gamecube: best games, xbox: best controller and best online, playstation 2: has nothing better then xbox and gamecube, but still, it's a damn good console :)
