Metal Gear Acid: Is it worth picking up?

Well... I will hopefully be coming into the possession of a PSP in the future... *wink*

And I was wondering whether or not I should pick up MG acid...

I have heard that the gameplay really is not all that exciting... but was wondering whether or nt the storyline makes up for that.

Does anyone here own the game that could give me some more info? Thanks!

Well according to my friend, the game's suck as hell! It's a card battle game kinda like the Pokemon series. lol

It's not really a card battle game. It's more like a strategic grid-based role playing game (like Final Fantasy Tactics) where you use cards to attack, move, etc.

So far, MGA is my favourite PSP game (although I only own 3 PSP games, soon to be 5). The gameplay isn't really exciting because it isn't very action-oriented. It's a game for people who like using their brains, so anyone into strategy games, puzzle games, and role playing games will probably enjoy it.

The story is okay, but nothing compared to the Solid games. It does get pretty interesting and crazy at times (such as puppets hijacking a plane and Solid Snake may not even be the real Solid Snake, etc.) I enjoyed the gameplay more. Anyone who is a Metal Gear fan should try it out (it actually got rated the second best spinoff game on GameFAQs a few days ago).

I actually liked the pokemon card games for the gameboy... I am not ashamed to admit it either... they were quite fun at times.

You better not spend your money for games like this one. I bought it with my PSP system and I got bored from the first 30 minutes so I run to the store and bought Burnout Legends. You should do the same!

If i were u i'd save up about 1100 dollars wait till 26 of march(if ur in australia if ur in USA do it now) go out and buy a ps3 and a copy of MGS4 for 1 it is true metal gear solid not some card battle bull**** and 2 it has way better graphics
