The tale of my RAM Upgrade!

This thread will be a continuing tale of the adventure of upgrading my computer's ram from 256 to 768. :)

So far I have gone through a website called "crucial.com" in order to find the type of ram that my computer uses. I went through a series of menus and finally got a list of all available ram upgrades. I picked out a 512 upgrade and for the small price of $75 have it coming to me sometime this next week with 2nd day delivery.

The adventure has only just begun...

Well I started at 256... so I was either going to have to buy a gig or 512. I only needed a little over 512 to play every single game that I wanted. :) So I just got 512.

Anyways. The ram is installed and my games are running at an unbelievably awesome pace! Thanks Crucial!

Anyways... let me wrap up the "tale"

And thus Attilitus the Hun recieved his ram, installed it, and everyone lived happily ever after until computer games progressed to a point where 700 ram was no longer sufficient. The end... (or is it?)

I have 256 and wanted to buy 1 gig so I run to the local store to buy one. I currently own 256-333mhz ram so my version was too old! Is anybody out there who has 512-333mhzram for a reasonable price?:(

Crucial lets you choose your computer model and it gives you all of the RAM that is compatable with your computer!

Yea... it was really handy... otherwise I would have had to open up my computer to find out what kind of RAM I needed.

at the moment i have a 1g ram but im not happy i want more...lol a 2g ram sound good to me. :rolleyes:

Yea right now there is no game that has a recommended spec above 1 gig of ram...
