there are some problems with the 360 like defects. such as shutting off while playing a game. so why do game fans still continue buying the 360? in my opinion it sucks! and one more thing ... you know the power box thing? they say that your not suppose to put it on the ground. your suppose to stand it upright. xbox is asking way too much things out of us.

i think that you are not supposed to put it on the ground so that it doesn't get overheated...that's with a lot of electronics that use a lot of power...you dont want the ventilation to be blocked by the carpet or whatever if you put it on the ground...i dont think that's too much to ask...more of a common sense kind of thing ;)

but yea, there have been lots of reports of defects...here's a link:

the 360 doesnt suck. if u gotta stand it up then stand it up. Name all the things that they ask us to do, and i bet that not even half of the reasons are unreasonable, maybe even 1/4 of the things arent even unreasonable.

ok ok i may pushed a little to far there, so ill take that back. the 360 doesnt suck its just i dont like it the system itself..games are really cool though.

it has been having overheating issues. from what ive heard they got sued for it. not that who ever sued will win but im sure xbox is fixing the problem.

problems happen with every new electronic device. It might even happen to the ps3, who knows...

i've been playing, and watching movies for hours every day and no problems. I have the power brick layin on a carpeted floor and no problems whatsoever. maybe some people don't know how to take care of thier stuff ;)

ah lucky me, my 360 is a little messed up, not too much. A couple of times i had to switch outlets to plug in the power cord cuz the console wouldnt turn on. The console did shut off once during gametime, maybe it was overheating, but that wasnt a major problem. My cousins did say that my game froze for a couple of seconds, but i wasnt there so i dont kno... ill probably send it back for them to fix, but still, it sucks that it even has problems
:(. Microsoft can do better than this :(

Besides all that, the graphics and gameplay is AWESOME! even on a regular old tv :)

oh, it will happen. Every system always has glitches, people should know this by now!! As said above, always make shure you system is on a solid flat surface, make sure nothing is blocking the side/back/or bottom vents. NEVER set it on carpet..it'll overheat...and get some nasty crap inside. If at all possible try to have a fan on the system during warm weather, and for the love of all things holy: give the damn thing a break now and then, 10 hours of nonstop play is torture on any system, space it out in 3-4 hour segments at most.

yea, richard to prevent the overheating put it on that table you have in that room, don't put it where your n64 was...it will overheat more quickly...put it on that coffee table ;)
