Problem with my WLAN when playing NFS Most Wanted

I need help with this matter because I think my WLAN is not working properly. Does anyone else has such problems?
I tried to play NFS MW on WLAN and I couldn't trace my friends signal . My friend tried to create a game and then he couldn't trace me. HELP!!!!!!!!!:confused:

Are you both using the same version of the game? I tried connecting a US version of Wipeout to a EUR version of wipeout and it didn't work. But, EUR to EUR worked. If you are playing back-ups of the game you might both have a different version..

No we are not using same version I currently have US software and US games my pal has EU games and JAP software!:confused: Weird right?:mad:
