FFXI: Online

Anyone play this game? I've been a FF fan since 7 came out and the online game has consumed 2 years of my life now (35+ days of actual play).

Yea I got it... it is really fun, however, you really need a month or so of straight gameplay without any impending workload piling up to really enjoy it... it is a very slow game... but it is really fun too!

Great online community!

(PS. World of Warcraft is better. :p)

i've played it once at my friend's place. It was okay i guess, it wont keep u excited for too long tho. Maybe its jus cuz im not really a RPG person, but it was an okay game.

yeah i got this game, with all 3 expansion pack and just got blue mage and corsair jobs yesterday and today. im on the fairy server if you want to come and help me make gil, character name is Chaz and my handler's name is Colonal Mustard and if you must know why i picked it, youll have to ask me in a pm. im on the Fairy server.

Grrrr Chaz!!! You got your expansion huh? Well XP to you. Blu & cor? What are they like? I want them!!! Well, mostly just cor. Are the quests to get the jobs tough? I have decided to keep my character, and get the expansion. I'll be getting it pretty soon.

Anyway, if you can't tell I play FFXI, I know the Chaz-ster- actually, I met my fiancee in it ^_^ ::yay Trunksdan!!:: Anyway, when I first started this game, I was NOT impressed. I was lvl 3 after a few days and I thought "this game sucks, I'm dropping it." Then I ran into this guy who offered to pl (power level) me. Ha ha he pled me for like 2 1/2 months. Eventually I had a friend who had to quit the game and he gave me his account, which was a mainly white mage. I love being a white mage!!! I wish I would have had that from the Beginning! Anyway, I'm fairy server too, name's swampdog, and I will pl anyone under level 20 if they ask me to and I'm not busy.

again - a thousand praises to sqaure enix for that.
personally I loved FF11 instantly, it seemed vast, social, and fun.
it has something about it that doesnt even require you to actively fight and lvl to enjoy it~!
I just used to love simply fishing in Kazham till the day ends.
a very pretty game with one or two pretty ppl!:)

Really funny. Really funny. Yes, I really should... *thank* s-e shouldn't I? Anyway... I would say FFXI is the best MMORPG, and so worth the money! Just stay away from any red haired samurai elvaans you run into and you'll be fine.

you cant out run an elvaan, unless you know flee or have a chocobo.

That's so funny, cause Elvaan chicks are so slow. I was always 2 maps behind everyone else in the party when we were finding a location. I can't tell you how often I'd see *In Teal* "Hey. where's Anais?" "Umm... Ana? Where are you?"

Grrr My mithra was so much better, even WITH a manthra name.
