Hello:

Recently I upgrade to windows vista, so far many of my games work fine on the system and the game explorer is really nice. I specially like the parent control, works really well.

My games runs well too, so far I've tried:

-Call of duty 2
-Counter Strike Source
-Guild Wars
-World of Warcraft
-Need for speed carbon.
-Hitman Blood Money.
-Civilization IV

All of them work even better on vista. I only have a problem with one of my games, manhunt, for some reason is telling me that manhunt.exe has encounter a problem and needs to be closed, I'm still working on that error.

But so far is really good, especially with direct x 10......

:)

Im waitin on some major patches to start coming out, then ill think about getting Vista. Both of my PCs could easily handle Vista Premium right now.

Vista...
Is nothing speical.
Have you played with around on the program. It's just an upgrade from XP. All it does is have better graphics (woo) And asked you questions every time you decide to do something. I would wait a while, so Vista can become better and fix all the bugs. I mean isn't that what happend to XP?

I agree with Silent, when XP first come out I heard it had a lot of bugs so I stayed with Windows 2000 for a while until my uncle (who is a technican) recommended switching. So I did. I'm not going to switch to Vista anytime soon. In the future perhaps.

At this time Xp is better than vista in games with 15%, take a look here: tomshardware.com/2007/01/29/xp-vs-vista/page4.html

Every new Microsoft operating system is pretty much an upgrade from the last one. They havent really changed THAT much besides looks and "security". Yes, wait for a while to upgrade to XP. Even after 6 years, there are still bugs in XP, dont think after a few months Vista will magically become bug-free.

This reminds me of a nerd quote. It goes....

"Use Unix for stability, Macs for productivity, and Windows for Solitaire."

I've upgraded to vista and most games i've tried works, except a few older games, "star trek armada 2" also crashes when you try playing ongame, dunno if i try it through gamespy though....

Anyone there are still a few bugs in windows vista ultimate.... but only a few... The security upgrade (User account control) is good and can be disabled if you want.

To me, the only reason to get vista would be for Halo 2 PC. Mods for it are going to be sick.

Why do you think Halo 2 will be better on vista than xp??

Because Halo 2 for the PC is going to be only for Vista

Yea, Vista isnt that important to get just yet, still waiting for some bug fixes etc.
