Quake 4

Hi.
Can anyone tell me what is the best keyboard setup to play Quake 4 and is it best to always use the mouse?
I have just had this game for xmas and want to get to grips with it, so anyone with Quake experience maybe knows the best way to tackle the beast

I think the best way to enkoy that game is to set up your keyboard as: w-a-d for movement and your mouse as a pointer caue pc's have that great advanatge from console THE MOUSE!!

I have to throw my opinion in here ;)

I liked quake 3 better :) Why the change the format? Beats me. I have quake 4 and the only way you can play like quake 3 is multi player. I have dial up so I can't play it online:( I like the wasd setup also much better then the arrows!! ;)

Quake 4 had <single player> that was actually fun lol dont forget to mention that.
besides...quake 3s graphics that were top notch are now completly outdated

its kinda like call of duty its graphics were amazing but they arent now they just look really bad compared to 2
