supreme commander:
minimun requirements for this game 1.8 ghz processor, 512 RAM, 128 MB of video.
i have a system much better than that: p4 3.00 ghz processor, 1 GB RAM and an ati radeon x1650 pro-512 MB.
i have read some reviews about this game and the people say that only a beast can run this game, people with better computers than mine say that they can only play on low graphics.
why is this?
will i be able to run it?
can somebody tell me.......................

well cause games are being built so advanced that even the best hardware will be tough to run it.. try it on low graphics on urs, and if it runs smooth boost it up.. :)

Those are the MINIMUM requirements. This game is extremely hardware-intensive.

You see, every bullet, that every unit in the game has its tragectory calculated in real time. If the unit you shot at moves, the bullet keeps going and hits whatever's behind it, wether it be another unit, or a tree, or whatever. So if you have a battlefield of over 100 units, your CPU will have a heck of a hard time to make those calculations fast enough.

Here's what I would recommend:

High end Intel Core 2 Duo (over 2ghz)
2gb RAM
X1900/7900 and above

With something like this, you should be fine to play on medium/high graphics.

I'd recommend downloading the demo or buying a mag with it on. This would give you a good indication but I suspect the battles get more intense in the real game.

I have a 3Ghz and only 1MB Ram with a 128MB Graphics card and the demo ran fine.
