This game....it makes no sense to me. You play as a squirrel named Conker, and you try to find your way home after waking up somewhere with a hangover.

Now, this game is a port of the 2001 game, Conker's Bad Fur Day. The only major difference is the graphical upgrade and the multiplayer. As for the single player, the game plays very similarly, but the standards of games have drasitically been improved upon since the realease of BFD, when it came out during the ending years of the N64. The voice acting is shoddy, the character movements are very plain and it just feels like you are playing an unfinished game. Yes, the game is a port, and not a remake, so all those lackluster elements that made the original great just falls under the radar with everything else that plays better in 2004.

The multiplayer....is too freaking unbalanced. You either play as SHC or the Teddiz, choosing a class of Grunt (regular rifleman) , Thermophile (flamethrower guy), Demolisher (rocket guy), Sneeker (sneaking guy), Sky Jockey (pilot), and Long Ranger (sniper dude). During gameplay, you are able to pick up a power orb which will upgrade you until you die. Now, the biggest problem with this comes with the grunts. When the Grunt gets the upgrade, he gets a grenade launcher, which completely ruins the game. I know, I used to be the terror of many games, and have been victim of this myself. Also, the Sky Jockey's ships are insanely powerful. This leads to most games being played the the remaining classes whenever you go online, and most people tend to choose the Sneekers, and all you are even left with are basically large samurai deathmatch games, since the Sneekers' main weapon is the sword. It's a shame this game has come to this, but it was quite fun for the first few weeks the game was released, since most people were new and actually varied their classes.

Normally, I complete the game just before I review it. The last time I played and finished it was back in the summer of 2004, but I really didn't have the patience to go through it again.

Only those who really enjoyed the original will enjoy this, and from what I've heard the original, as always, is better.

Score: 5.5/10

Looks the business. I thought for a second it was on 360 not just original Xbox

Good review. I wonder how they will do with Banjo Kazooie 3.....

It is backwards compatible on the 360, and the emulation is just about as good as they get. However, that doesn't make the game any better.

On a side note, you are at 2400 posts OMG!

Good review. I wonder how they will do with Banjo Kazooie 3..... I hope they don't ruin it i loved those games. Tried playing Conkers Bad Fur Day once and couldn't really get into it. This review does little to help me want to either.

This games only saving grace is its comedic value. I found it very, very funny.

Then again, I have quite the immature sense of humour.

I'd give it a 6/10
