N-Gage and Mobile Gaming Discussion

Hey guys,

Just wanted to post a thread with your views on Mobile gaming and the N-Gage, etc.

I own a Nokia N70 and an N-Gage which actually work pretty good for most mobile games you can get on the Internet. I've tried Tony Hawk's Underground and Call of Duty on both and work alright, N-Gage games are pretty good too.

Of cause I did. I remember hearing in the news that Nokia was entering the video game market and I thought at the time it would be nice playing a handheld that didn't belong to Nintendo. (Considering I don't really play my SEGA Game Gear or Atari Lynx because they hog battery power).

It doubles as a mobile phone, which is handy, and can play games stored on MMS cards. I bought many games including Tony Hawks, Warhammer 40, 000 and Call of Duty. Oh yeah and Crash Nitro Kart, this went on top of my huge collection of mobile games that I played on my previous mobile phone, such as Sonic, Pacman, Space Invaders, Crash Bandicoot, UNO, etc.

I even stored my MP3s on it to play. But now, I use my N-Gage only for mobile games. I have a more newer mobile phone (which I hardly never use because I don't get many phone calls) to do my business on.

So yeah, I did. lol. :D

Why do you feel it's a waste of money? Is it because it by a company by you never thought would enter the gaming market? Just wondering and that. :confused:

The n-gage was pretty cool, I got the re-released version
but that was about four or five years ago.
The only other handheld consoles then was the gameboy advanced/maybe sp.
The gameboy sp had a really bad screen.
Whats hitori12s problem with the gamecube?
And what does the gamecube have to do with the n-gage?

I'M RE-STARTING THIS THREAD!

Nokia has already announced the new N-Gage system, which is now a a service which new Nokia phones, such as the N81 and N90 can download games and play them. (You have to pay of cause). There is still all the things I enjoyed with the old N-Gage such as the online play and now you can download a demo of the game before you buy it (similar to the Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN Marketplace)

I've already preserved my online name (freezeflamer) on the N-Gage website which is easy to figure out (http://www.n-gage.com)

Only unfortunate thing is that the new N-Gage is not compatible with the older N-Gage games.

Anyway, feel free to post your opinions.

yepp i got my free ngage games on my Nokia N95...best buy ever..although games are a bit naff...still the games have potential
