Seeing how the Psp is able to get online and view sites, has there been any mention about the ds, besides playing against others?

A few posts on other forums lead me to believe that it is possible to use the DS online, though I can't remember now which games were referred to. I'll have a look around and see if I can find out.

I don't know of any non-modding ways to do it now, but by the end of this year Nintendo has stated it will be fully online, with the first 2 games showcasing this being Animal Crossing and Mario Kart.

As far as I know there is absolutely no way to get it to work through the internet... The little adaptor cable cannot hook into a computer so I can't see any way to create a *tunneling* multiplayer server...

sounds pretty cool, but it seems a little bit weird that the DS can even go online... o well, it could b a great turnaround for the DS.

Im telling you psp's are not good playing systems. I mean sure they have good graphics and movies, but what happens when it breaks (PSP breaking percent at 56% to ds's 21%). Or when your thumb gets to big for that nub the call a analog stick.

^^^ Yea if you go to mc donoalds you can connect to wi - fi but not all mc donalds let you connect to the internet I fond a good site that shows you every local wi - fi spot, I'll find the site and I'll post it on here.

DS can connect to the internet through a USB cable. You just get the one with a normal usb plug on one side and the mini plug on the other side. I don't think there is a web browsing program yet, but I know they have hacked ones circulating the internet.
And McDs is great for having free wifi access but I haven't been able to get my DS to actually connect to the internet through wifi, even at hotspots...

well if you ask me, nintendo should make a special adaptor that connects to the modem or whatever kind of internet you have and you could go online
