Pokémon Emerald; HELP - I´m stuck!!!

I’m stuck in the game. I am in Mossdeep City, and I need the HM "Dive" from Steven. And I can get that, after I have beaten Team Magma in the Space Center.....

And yes, I have been beaten them all, but they won’t go away????

Have I missed something???

Did you fight team magma in the space center? If you did, talk to Steven and he should give you HM08(dive).

Did you defeat the gym leaders?

I have beaten them know... It was because you should ask Steven twice, to beat the team leader with Steven himself...:p
