I like the idea that you can use the stylus controller exclusively for this game. Nintendo seem to be really into developing different methods of control atm, the Warioware games being another example. But more that just a unique control method this looks like a REALLY cool game graphically and I've also heard that there are plenty of puzzles to solve etc, putting it more in line with Mario-style games.
I don't have a DS currently, but my #1 reason to purchase now is probably Kirby. Be interested in hearing others' opinions of this game, and whether you know of any other games that use the dual screen aspect and stylus as a major method of control.

Hi Sterner,
I think quite a few games on the DS use the stylus, that's what the DS is all about really, the unique dual screen and stylus control. But I agree, Kirby looks like it uses the stylus and nothing else which does look unique.
Another game which uses that type of control is called "feel the magic", a 'virtual love' game! I don't personally think that would appeal to westerners as much as the Japanese mind you :)

The control in Kirby seems amazingly simple when you first play. But once you get a few worlds in and unlock some of the bonus levels, it can become pretty challenging. It's a fantastic game with tons of unlockables including other playable characters that control differently.
This has become my game of choice when I know I'm going to have to wait around 30 minutes for something. Besides Advance Wars: DS it is my top DS game.

I heard about this game and was interested in the new contorl scheme. You are definitely right... Nintendo seems to have given up at competing with Microsoft and Sony with raw power... It is actually a smart approach but it might just completely fail if they take their "revolution" too far.
