i jus got doa4 today and let me tell u something, it's fantastic! :D i've only played enough to have beaten story mode with 3 characters on normal so far. lol at first i sucked so bad! i jus skipped training and went to story, but for anyone who has this game, and hasnt done training, i suggest u should. You may.. u WONT, remember all the moves that u have to perform, but it's a very good experience if ur not doing so well with ur combos in game

PROS:
-Great graphics, gameplay etc...
-different cool combos for each character
-cool unlockables (movies, costumes, characters)
-havent played online yet, but i hear its fun :)

CONS:
Biggest con is...
-cheapass AI!!! even on the easiest difficulty they sometimes... lets jus put it this way... prepare to hear "YOU LOSE" ALOT... that's y i said to work on ur combos and such
-blocking is close to useless, and theres not as many counters
-havent played online yet, but i hear it can get pretty laggy too

I do recommend this game, it's easy to learn and it's very fun, im not really even a fighting game type of person, and i still enjoyed it alot :)

At first its very frustrating, there were so many times when i wanted to toss the controller :) After a whlie though i learned that there was more to this game than just button mashing. Definitly learn how to counter, now i don't have any problems beating the game (even that last boss :mad: )

i remember some combos, but i can never remember any counters :mad: and i dont even remember many combos. i hear that u get grades or something online? i think when i get gold, ill probably stick to alot of sparring :P

I think the slowest and suckiest person to use in the game so far, out of like 5 characters played, Kokoro is the one!!! omg it makes me so mad when i have to use her cuz shes so FN SLOW!!!!! omg i jus wanna slap her

I have played a lot of DOA2U against the computer and my girlfriend. I'm decent at one player but I have a feeling anybody who's actually good would beat me down repeatedly. DOA4 is the ONLY reason I want a 360 at this point.

doa4 is a really good game, next too many other games.. or atleast many upcoming games :) Im now getting better :), been training alot and now i think im ready for online, once i get it :)

I've only had Dead or alive for a week and I really know what you mean about it being hard does anyone have any tips the last boss is so fu#k#ng hard.

I own the game, Im not half bad, I've played for a long time though. It is actually a great game, I love the gameplay and the online is great.

Alpha can get pretty cheap sometimes.. Personally, i think u really need to focus on

-sparring with all characters so that you'll get use to doing combos automatically.
-you may b good, but dont slack off as you're waiting to play alpha... each second of playing counts as training.
-While you're playing Alpha, it's good to hurry and get the first hit right after it says "fight", that tends to relieve more stress in a way... for me it does.
-Alpha does teleport all the way across the map from u a lot, so remember to not rush in every second u can. Wait for the right time, as she will start to teleport closer.
-This is jus my point of view, but you're mostly going to either middlekick counter, middlepunch, or high punch counter. This is jus from my experience, so if u wanna try it, get use to those counter moves rather than the other ones as u play ALPHA.

Sorry if u can't really understand my tips, but if u do then really consider all of these.
