I'm buying a new pc in 3 weeks and I will spend somewhere at 1200$
I already have a good gaming case so I don't have to buy a new one.

I'll buy a new one soon. Spending around $1200-1400 on it, depends if I get two LCD's for it or just one. I hope with 2 LCD's, cause my productivity skyrocketed after using that for some time.
Hopefully I'll get something that will play any new game for at least 1 year from now on.

I am not buying a NEW one, but I am seriously upgrading my current. FOr all intensive purposes it basically is a new computer.

I just bought:
New motherboard
AMD Athlon FX2 5600 processor
2 GB of Corsair RAM
New Harddrive (gonna duel boot XP and Vista :))

I am also going to be buying a new 24" Widescreen LCD monitor as well as a new video card. Haven't decided which but probably the ATI HD 2900XT.

I'm going the upgrade path as well. My current Athlon X2 4800+ is great but my motherboard is a socket 939 and I'll need an AM2 board for a new CPU. So I'm looking into that, a new X2 in the 5400+ to 6000+ range, and an 8800 GTX to replace my twin 7800 GT OCs. Eventually, I'll add a second 8800 GTX and a new PSU to handle it. Of course I'll need new DDR2 to replace the DDR ram that I've been using for years now. Yeesh. This is getting expensive!

Well I was originally going to upgrade mine, but would be a whole lot better, to just get a whole new system.

Plus I want an LCD screen :)
