I was wondering if anyone has heard any rumors or know of any new handheld consoles are gonna try and make a break for it on the market.
Im sick of my psp so i wantd to know if there was anything new to look foward to.

I seriously doubt that's going to happen. It barely got the slimmer redesign. No touch screen was mentioned at the Sony Conference at E3, it would have caused major buzz.

There have been some rumors of a Microsoft handheld w/ XBox 1 power. Maybe Q1 2009?

I have also heard rumors of a handheld xbox, but other than that nothing.

Yes - the slimmer PSP is supposed to have video output - a feature that I found disappointingly lacking in the original PSP.

Maybe the new ones won't be prone to drive failure (reading UMDs) like my 2 original PSPs. I still have to send my 2nd one in for repairs - I think the warranty expires in September.

My first psp stopped reading discs and my brother broke my second one. I hope the problems are fixed in the slim line because I am geting one for christhmas.

Well hopefully there will be a handheld xbox, i know i would get it. I just hope they don't decide to do another redesign of the DS. WE ARE OVER ALL THE DS! WE NEED SOMETHING ELSE!!
