Updating Your 360 Could Kill it?

anyone have heard of this news? this is scary and havent tried it yet for my 360. They say that the mandatory march live update will kill your 360. this has been the grief of some guys in other forum. until i read this article. mandatory xbox360 live update (http://xbox360.qj.net/Updating-Your-360-Could-Kill-it-/pg/49/aid/10308)

I updated today after being offline a couple months, everything working great, now I can catch up with a couple demos i've missed :D

yes i heard about that TieWrap. A lot of people on the ign boards say that's all "BS!" but i dont kno. I still need to update mine

we dont have a choice but to update our console online. and if we dont, we will never have access in live.
