I used to play a lot of the earlier TF, gotta say it was probably the best mod for HL at that time. Thanks for mentioning this, I'll be waiting for it to be released along with Portal. :) But it seems like they've added a humorous tone it though, what do you think about that?
I personally think that it's good since it's an original idea and in my opinion, fits well to the atmosphere of the game. A friend of mine thinks it ruins the mood instead, making the game a joke.

I just played the first TF today, I totally sucked at it, but it seems fun. Craptacular graphics tho.

Yeah, the old TF is pretty worn up these days. :) The graphics of TF2 are cartoonish. Too bad I can't post links since I'm not a "genuine" user, but I'm sure you can see some in youtube and such. I wonder how the graphics will work on HL2 engine.

I cant wait for tf2 but if you want a team fortress with good graphics and not cartoonish then look up the hl2 mod fortress forever its reamake of tf with the sources engine!:D
