Best graphics

Now i know that it might be obvious that the PSPs graphics are much better than other consoles but i want to see what yur opinions are.

So what are they?

They are best hand held graphics, but not better than PS2 and PS3 as some games graphics are really dodgy. I think SW Battlefront 2 graphics better on PSP where as Sports Games are better on PS2 and PS3

well if you play prince of persia on psp you will see graphics detailed on psp

It certainly is not the DS lite for best graphics. My bro got it for his 7th birthday and thinks all the games are boring and babyish. Thats why the PSP is better in terms of graphics. Even the DS is better than the DS Lite

In terms of hand held machines, the PSP has the potential for better graphics than the DS....but it just goes to show that graphics mean NOTHING as the Nintendo DS has sold 48.99m units, whilst the PSP is floundering with 22.92m with no hope of ever catching.....

.....roll on the PSP 2, if Sony find the money to make it bearing in mind they're making huge losses from their consoles. Nintendo have taught Sony a lesson in how to market and make a hand held games console.

Im sick of the figures there is already a release date set and it comes in 9 days time. I absolutely disagree you must work for nintendo or somthin. PSP doesn't just have potential, it already ahs better graphics than DS and is improving. In the long run bet you Sony will make more than Nintendo because they have more enjoyable consoles that won't be resold at a boot sale within 6 mlontsh of being bought

What are you on about.....Grand Theft Auto IS coming out on 360.

Halo appear on Playstation 2 or PSP??? Even if an amazing deal was struck between MS and Sony, their games would never appear on last generation hardware. Halo 3 would technically not be achievable on the PS2 and even less so on PSP.....in fact, Halo 2 would struggle to run on those systems as the Xbox was a pretty powerful machine compared to the PS2. It would have to be heavily changed and compromised.

Highly disagree. Just because you can enjoy games on the DS doesn't mean they're for children.

Anyway to the topic of course the PSP graphics are better. It has always made me think why Nintendo have never even just had a go at making a game with superior graphics....

I think its fair to say that the DS isn't just for kids, just look at its sales figures!!

Nintendo have never put presentation over gameplay and substance. I find many Nintendo games to look very clean and perfect for what they are. Also, its worth noting that the more "pretty" a game looks, the more battery life it will suck out. For handheld games, this is crucial.

However, from a home console point of view...the N64 was significantly more powerful than the PS1 for 3D.....and the Gamecube was a lot more powerful than the PS2 (just take a look at Resident Evil 4 on both machines!). Despite having the technical edge over Sony in those generations, Sony always came out on top. However, its Nintendo now with the less powerful consoles (Wii and DS), and they are thrashing Sony now.

Being always there is not guaranteed. Sony have been making huge losses on all their platforms for a couple of years now. The PSP has been selling OK, but no one is buying the software (the only real way to make any money).....the PS2 is obviously drying up, and the PS3 is being crushed by Nintendo and even Microsoft. The tables have been totally reversed.

Nobody 15 years ago would have dreamt Sega would no longer be in the games industry. Nintendo have been the only one's up to now who've proved themselves. Even Nintendos lesser selling machines like the Gamecube, have still made a profit.

The PSP is a flop simply because it doesn't do what it's supposed to - play games, and thats down to the combination of consumers choosing DS over PSP AND consumers perhaps buying the PSP, but not buying the games.

Yes I do agree with PSP being the best handheld graphics, but have you noticed how the DS is getting close with the PSP. It may seem like it is'nt,but just take a look at some of there games. They are getting up there so to speek. But right now PSP does hold the title for best graphics in the handheld division. I personaly think that the name from PSP meaning Play Station Portable speeks the truth. It's not a Play Station 2 Portable and I think some people are forgetting that. They are starting to expect more out of it when realy the name has already said the area of it's graphics.
