As the gaming industry awaits for PS3's arrival; the battle between Xbox 360 and PS3 has started. Xbox 360 as known to be one of the much loved gaming consoles in the market started its face off with PS3. PS3 as claimed to be the direct competitor of xbox and will someday take the throne from MS xbox 360.

Though both share the same philosophy as the “Next Generation” console as a device not just for gaming, MS stands for with a vision as the “Entertainment Amplifier” and Sony's PS3 is leaning toward the “Media Center” concept. (much larger hard drive along with music, video, game access via hard drive, etc.

With all this claims and concepts and blah blah blah.... I was just wondering, in our own point of view what is “Entertainment Amplifier or Media Center for us.

What is it for you? Entertainment Amplifier or Media Center?

Post your opinion here.

Hi,

I have read about both Xbox 360 and PS3, I Have the 360 and I think its getting better with its update and contect downloads on games and software and now with Messenger and all its Game demo's download and its arcade games. I would give it 9.9 out of 10.

As For The PS3 I Havnt read much about it, But i do know its got a Blu-Ray DVD Drive which is a big plus and the blu-ray players cost £1000 at the moment, But I dont know if its got what the xbox 360 has got???

But both have come along way really. Im not that happy with 360 because its not got the 360 elite and all its got is hardware updates and a 120 Gb hard drive, But i dont think we should spend about £300 or more for the elite when we should be able to get to pay for what we want. e.g. Its Graphics card is going to be bigger in MB's now when the 360 was first built with a smaller card even though there was 512mb plus graphics card out then. So i do think we should pay for what we want in it.

But I will buy the ps3 when i can lol :D ;) :)
