i am going to get a new computer for myself nxt year and i am woundering what kind i should get. i want a good one tht can do all the normal stuff and other things too.
not an expensive one though, maximum £650.
i want it to be a fast one that opens up internet pages straight away. i don't really want a games pc as i am getting a ps3 for xmas and that will have online on it. but if it can game good than that will be great.
if anyone could tell me what kind of computer i could get for around that price that is good, and where from. also could you tell me the price pls?
if someone could do this it would be really helpful- thanks.

Go to a nearby computer store and look for yourself, their isn't any specific PC to get, you can tell by looking at the requirements and asking around, which is the one you want.

Opening up internet pages quickly depends on your internet connection, but if you dont really want a super gaming machine you can probably get one for a good price from Dell, unless you want to build one but if you know how to i doubt youd be asking :D

No you're wrong.
It was stated that the speed of the computer depends on how fast your processor is, a big factor could be the amount of hard drive you got.
Internet Speed refers to the fast internet windows, etc.... that has nothing to do with the speed of a computer.

The internet speed has nothing to do with the internet speed, because you can have 4mb internet speed on a Pentium 1 and also on quad with 8800Ultra and 4 Gb Ram

Ahem, re-read your post mate :D
Yeah, get a computer that better suits your needs, rather than the one that you THINK you need, that way you'll save alot on a computer that you actually need.

You should also think of what exactly you want to do with the pc. If you just want to do work and stuff, and if gaming isn't a big priority, make your CPU your 1st priority, then focus on RAM and HDD space etc. For gaming your graphics card should be 1st, then the rest.

Dell pc's allways seem to be good and reliable and most of them come with a small price tag check out dell.com for more info

First of all, decide what you need and what not.If you want it for gaming purpose then you need a good graphics card and a good memory, i mean RAM and hard disk with lots of free pace. But if you want it for office purpose then a normal system will be handy there. So, it depends on your requirement. :)
