The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords- Game Boy Advance (Released 2002 and 2003 for EU)

This game is just a remake of Link to the Past, but it includes an awesome multiplayer adventure called four swords, where 4 links can be controlled at the same time.

The orginal story follows a young boy named Link who hears a voice calling him to the Hyrule Castle. After arriving and going down into the dungeons, he meets Princess Zelda. After recusing her, he is sent to get 3 medals from different temples. When he returns with them and after getting the master sword, Princess Zelda is taken and sent into the dark realm, and Agahnim battles Link and teleports to the dark realm with Link. There he must recuse the Princesses, and save the world.

Four swords is set in the east side of the Dark Pyramid of the Sacred Realm. Link creates four doppelgängers of himself and uses the Four Sword to save the Princess from being Vaatis bride. This is the first introduction of the villan Vaati instead of the usual Ganondorf. The game is more of a fun minigame to play with friends and it requires teamwork to finish. Completing Four Swords unlocks a "Quest Log" revealing certain statistics on the game.

Same controls as Link to the Past, its just a fun remake and great to play with friends.

Score: 9.5/10

I don't own a GBA, so the four swords bit is impossible.....but the lure of Link to the Past on a handheld means that it's possible i could get this for the DS!

Yea its a gerat remake, the four swords part also MUST be played with at least 1 other person, you cant other wise, which is kind of crappy

Yea, I figured that, and since the DS can't be connected like the Gameboy Advance, this game would only be useful for the Link to the Past game......which is fine by me!

Sweet reveiw. I have completed this game which of course means I own it. Between getting the princess back from the the evil, It's pretty cool getting to run around and buy stuff. Most games like this are just for battle and don't have any storyline. Some of them that is. There are some awsome games out there like Fire Emblem, which I notice is where you're avatar is off of, but yeah cool game. All of the Zelda games are cool and still going. To anyone who has not played this I say to definatly give it a try. I give this game a 8/10 personaly.

No offense Sam, but it would help if you had something said in you're post that actually had some value. I know this post has no meaning except to tell you what should be said.

Yeah its probably the oldest yet coolest type of Nintendo game out there rather than Mario, Fox, etc.
