Good graphic intense PC games minus the gore?

Hey :)

I want to test out my computer's capabilities (especially the graphics) and find a good game. But all the games I've been finding are violent and bloody. FEAR, Doom, Company of Heroes, Crysis...etc.

Can someone suggest a game that is graphically intense and not full of violence?
Preferably not online games.

The most graphic intense game I play is The Sims 2.

Why not gameplay intense?

Because the thing that counts most in a game is the graphics.

Sure, it may be fun to have a game that has exceptional graphics, but the graphics is just eye-candy and does not really add anything to the actual game, except it might make it easier to play, but still it doesn't add much.

I do prefer games that interest me. But I want to see how well my computer can perform and seeing as the most intense game I play is The Sims 2 I thought I'd try something else out.

If you want to test your pc performance, why don't you try 3dmark 2006??

Oh thanks! I checked it out and it looked pretty good...currently downloading the free version as a try-out :)

I find it funny that when sims 2 came out originally you could get the entire game, not a demo, for free when you buy a pizza. True story, thats where I got mine.

Sims 2 isn't really a super computer demanding game. However, if you really wanna test it's capabilities try Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I don't remember any gore but it was (maybe still is) the greatest graphics in a game I've ever seen.
