Where to find PS3

Does anyone know where i can get a PS3....and i mean the US version not the one thats out in Japan

PS3s arent even out yet lol but u can preorder them now at EBgames or someplace. Unless ur crazy about Sony products, i suggest u wait a little after the ps3 comes out, and make a decision regarding whether or not to get it. By the way, if u didnt kno, the PS3 is scheduled around this holiday season.

sony says that the PS3 will be out in Japan around summer 2006, and the US, UK etc. by the end of the year.

If i had money to spend on 2 :) yes 2!!! ps3's then i would get an american one AND a japanese one, cuz u kno... japanese always has a little bit more cuz they dont wanna share!!!:mad: :)

You'd need to understand Jappanese to do that.

I don't know if it would be worth buying a Japanese one- the biggest reason to do that would be to get rid of coding without a mod chip (I've heard Japanese systems aren't coded). But with the PS3, they said they won't be coded. And yeah, sorry you can't get a ps3, English or otherwise... The system launch is going to be worldwide... .and i mean the US version not the one thats out in Japan Sorry, that just sounded funny to me... I guess I'm overtired.

i know its not out yet i just wanted to know which stores will be the first to carry them when they come out.....and yea the japanese ones always have a few extras i believe i seen in a mag somewhere that the reason is because they dont think most americans are advanced enough to work some of their tech lol

Well, I assume Toys 'R Us, EBGames, and many other major gaming and electronics distributers will carry them. Now, it depends on how many are gone due to preordering...

Like I said on one of the other PS3 threads, 1 million PS3's will come out each month and yes that's worldwide.
I was in one of the big game shops yesterday ( I got Tetris DS and Elder scrolls ) and they say that the PS3 will be released over here on Friday 17th November 2006 and it will cost £424.99 for the 60Gb HDD.

Well the price isn't too high but Sony will definetly sell more 20gb PS3's because I don't think many parents will get the 60gb PS3 and games.
