hey guys, im getting a high spec pc for christmas and i have a games wish list which consist of: halo 2 vista,gears of war,COD4 and ofcourse crysis and i need you all to give me some of your personal opinions of these games because i dont wana splash out on a game that sucks any help would be great;)

Halo 2 Only play on xbox but on there it ruled!
Gears of War Again only played on xbox but again it ruled! Plus PC version has 5 new acts i think which will atleast double a lenghthy story-line
COD 4 Very mixed reactions about this! Very short story line - but very intense! Fantastic online play - but ive never played PC version
Crysis OMG! Amazing Cant fault it! The only problem with mine is it needs a very high spec! But that shouldnt be a problem for you!

Have you ever played F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon)? I bought it this past summer, but my graphics card kept crashing, so I never got farther than maybe 4 hours, but it definitely offered good gameplay for that short amount of time. Enemies are actually intelligent! Wow! Haha, plus you can pick it up for $20 or less, which is even better!

I played Crysis on a Toshiba Satellite Pro P100 (Specs: GeForce 7900GS, 2GB RAM, 200GB HDD that's filled to the brim with nearly useless stuff, Core 2 Duo 2.16) I don't really qualify that as high end (but then again, I could only run it in medium graphics, but it still kicked ass in the graphics department)

Anyway, it's the only game I ever finished that I actually want to play again! It's just AWSUM!!.

COD4 isn't bad either, but you can finish it in a days time if you want to. I really like the multiplayer:D
