I've been using the RangeMax 240 by NETGEAR. I haven't had any issues with it. It's been able to easily connect the five computers in my house, along with my Wii, DS, and my sister's laptop. Some of the reviews I have read say that it doesn't work well with long ranges, but it's definitely good if you have a house like mine (rough dimensions are 28x64ft). Now, if you have a fairly large house, I'm not too sure if this would be the router for you. I can't say how well it works for houses with two floors, but ours is located in the middle of our house and we can connect from any point in the house. You can check out some reviews and the specs for yourself at reviews.cnet.com/networking-and-wi-fi/netgear-wpnt834-rangemax-240/4505-3243_7-31594292.html. I hope that I've been of some sort of help and I apologize for not being able to post a link...it said I need to be validated as a genuine user first, haha :)

Yeah my school has NETGEAR so it must be one of the biggest things coming out or supposably is i guess. All my teachers have it and do'nt have any trouble with it so they say.By the way thanks for the site Bondosan it did help and I found out some pretty neat stuff.

I'm getting a wireless router for Christmas. It's going to be a SpeedTouch 585 Wireless router + modem. I've never heard of it but it is the wireless router my ISP (Tiscali) supply.

I've used Linksys before and it has been very upstanding to what one of you guys have been saying. The most popular that i have been hearing about is Lynksis and Net gear of course thats what I've been hearing from people, not saying that you guys are wrong. I most likely though am going to get either Net gear or Lynksis.
