Thread: Good news :D

I found out today that the exam I sat last week in college, (the one that gives me the condition that the Universities want) was marked: I got a B in it, and thus, I'm accepted into Strathclyde Uni ^_^

(I hope someone actually cares lol)

Studying for a History Degree, with the intent of continuing to teacher training college, and then hopefully, a career (scary word...) as a secondary school history teacher.

My course details are, essentially...

For the first year, I'll be studying a mixture of social sciences (History, Psychology, Politics etc)

For the second year, I'll take 2 of the subjects I studied in he first year, and they'll be my principle subjects.

The third year will see me choosing whether or not to 'specialise' in one topic, or study more than one, equally.

My 4th year (Honours, think it sounds so cool ) will see me writing a dissertation on a subject of my choice.

And that's it

Aww, well done! When I first saw the thread title, I have to admit that my first thought was that you were engaged!

As for Rapture, my results are August 21st, I think. Applying to unis a bit after that etc. Currently looking round unis, 2 more days at Oxford next week, need to get looking round Warwick, Bath, York, ICL etc.
