Grand Theft Auto IV on playstation 2 ??

i have playstation 2 !
I was wondering whether or not playstation 2 would support
Grand Theft Auto IV ?

The answer to that question is no.

Yep, GTA4 will never run on PS2. Unless they make, a very, very, very basic port.

Oh and this is in the wrong section, should be in general games me thinks.

The Playstation 2 would be capable of a port of GTA IV, but it simply wouldn't look as good as the 360/PS3 versions.

Gameplay wise, size of the city, audio etc etc would be unchanged.....just wouldn't be as pretty.

Doesn't sound like putting it on the PS2 is enough of a challenge then so they should put it on the PSP.

I think they should perhaps roll out a Master System version. Revive the Master System!!

All games from this generation, can be achieved on last gen hardware with little compromise to actual gameplay and worlds....and it would certainly still be recognisable, just less beautiful.

Would struggle on Playstation 1 though, and be impossible on N64 and Saturn!!

That reminds me of a convo me and my freind have everytime, the fact that when ps1 came out we were OMG THOSE GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING! And then the ps2 was released and we played games on that going omg these graphics are amazing played a ps1 game and we were like, remember when we thought these graphics were AMAZING. And the same things happened again lol some games we used to think look so amazing and life like just look crap compared to games now, I still play some of the older games but damn they arent half ugly!

I remember thinking the graphics on Fifa 2001 on the PS2 were amazing
