Exclamation Problems With SLI videocards .

Hello . I have 2 GeForce 8600GT ( 128 bit , 256 MB ddr3 ) videocards . I uninstalled my pc so a week ago ( Vista ultimate 64 SP2 beta ) . First i installed Crysis warhead . So the problem is : I GOT ON MEDIUM SETTING 10 -13 FPS !?!? After this i installed Dual core center to see in which performance are my cards , and found out , that Vista set my cards performance to a VERY LOW performance , and locked them ! Originaly the GPU was on 540 Mhz , now on 180 . the shader clock was on 620 , now on 390 , and the ddr3 videoram was on 1400 , now on 700 .! I can't set them to a higher volume . tried with Rivatuner , and dual core center . WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED ??? PLZ HELP ME !

    RIG :
    2X AMD athlon 4000+ X2 dual core processor ( 2X a dual core processor )
    2X Nvidia GeForce 8600GT
    4X 1 GB DDR3 Ram ( 1600 Mhz )

dont blame it on vista lol

if your computer is a prebuild most of the setting will be locked, also make sure your user account has all permissions and stuff

The 8600GTs aren't the greatest card the world has ever seen (despite what halo thinks). As for the lower clocks, it is probably just your cards running in 2D mode. Use Rivatuner to monitor the clocks and put some stress on your cards (by using Furmark, or a game, etc.), this will probably return your cards to the regular clocks. As a side note, run something like 3DMark06 and post the results, that is probably the best way for us to see if something is wrong with your cards.
