Alright, here's the lowdown. I myself am a MAJOR console gamer, infact of all of the PCs I've ever owned over the years, the only real PC game I've ever played is Guild Wars. And I barely even played that on the count of my eMachine's power core finally giving out on me. To get to the point, I'm willing to make that crossover into the PC gaming world, only I dont know which piece of equipment would be right for me. So, how 'bout it? Any of you major PC gaming vets got any referances for me? I'm willing to spend a decent amount of cash, anything under two grand.
BTW -- Upon reading the October issue of Game Informer, I came across a PC that is well within my price range. The Vector GX Campus Edition -- starting at $899.00. Here are the specs:

and cheaper you get way more out of it i bought a nice computer its AMD-64-bit WinXp Dual Processor and has a ATI-256mb VideoCard AND WindowsMediaCenter and has much more came out to be only $899.00 plus the tax so go to that site look threw AMD.
well i bought a dimension C521 from dell and it has amd and it is the fastest cpu ive seen. also its only $599. it has a 200 GB harddrive. usb ports. speakers, free printer, subwoofer keyboard mouse, cdrw drive, floppy drive, aol free 1 year.
