    Guide for an idiot?

Can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction.

I have just bought a psp (my first handheld since a game gear in the early 80's!!) and I am well out of my depth.

I have tried to download a couple of pics as tests with no success as memory card (came with unit) is not recognised.

I then had some success with the little rocco demo which downloaded.

However couldnt play it as I had to download new software. Tried this with no success. If I download an update does it get stored on my memory card or the psp? How do I transfer it from comp to psp? I tried sending it to g drive again with no success.

Please feed me any help as if it were aimed at a 4 year old.

I would suggest you look around the forums a bit harder. There are many stickies here with quality information.

    For example:

    http://www.psp-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1933

This might help get you started with transferring things to your PSP.

You might also want to look at the Homebrew/Firmware stickies:

    http://www.psp-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1443
    http://www.psp-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=5453

    Look. Find. Learn.
Never looking back...or too far in front of me; the present is a gift - and I just wanna BE.

Life is fast - some choose to be quicker.

    -Try formatting your memory card
-If that doesn't work, make sure you are putting the pics in the folder named "PHOTO" any questions...just e-mail me at dirtbikr6288@yahoo.com
