Thread: BLACK for PS4?

    BLACK for PS4?

My question above is simply can you get the game Black for the PS4.
I have been away from gaming since the PS2 era and cannot remember who made the game, I have searched and cannot seem to locate the game for the PlayStation 4 but I know sometimes developers change the name with a new release but I cannot remember who made the game.
I loved this game so if anyone knows of the new version or even similar games I would be real interested in knowing.
    Thanks Y’all

Black, as in the PS2 and Original Xbox game? Well, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was on the PlayStation Network, a small browse could probably help you, and as for who made it, the cover that I posted should tell you.

I would be surprised to ever see it on the PS4 even as a back catalogue game. Criterion games (who made it) have a far bigger back catalogue with the Burnout and Need for Speed series and i very much doubt EA with bother themselves with Black unless there was an outcry for it.

It has been a long time, but I don't remember it being that great of a game.

Just grow up already, and buy the actually game. I mean what, do you want? For them to re=release the same damn game with some slight additions? I mean between the PS2 and the X-box ( which I assume is superior ), I would just own it and be done.

I mean, how foolish does a person have to be, to pay for a download. Just buy it, and be done.

Another thing you can do is write to Criterion games, and push them to make your release.

Lol you're an idiot Regal. If I want to pay to download a game onto MY system with MY money than that is MY business and not yours.

The guy was obviously just asking because he wants to get back into gaming on the new PS4 system and was simply just curious to whether or not one of his favorite titles from the past was available on the PS Store. It's not like he is going to be able to walk into a store and pick the game up on PS2, he might not even have the console anymore. How about instead of judging others you learn how to structure out your sentences a bit better, it might go a long way in helping you.

To be continued in another thread elsewhere........

Gaming is not buying the latest ( and thus greatest ) toys, that comes out. If this was Japan, we would see the NES being advertised beside the Jaguar, beside the 360. But because it is the west, and have this attitude about buying new products, people like you come off as a brainwashed maniaphile, who is willing to buy into whatever, is the latest. How do I know your really not just a Gamestop employee, or X representative of some sort, who just want people to burn their cash on downloadable trash.

Speaking of which, that "new is better" or "latest is best" attitude comes from the Jewish belief of "not owning anything that will rust or mold". So your just helping them.

The guy is into gaming, and obviously wants a certain game, but wants to know if it is playable. Dude should just buy the actual console, and stop wishing. Your an idiot because you paid for something you do not own. I bet right now a part of you is thinking about, how you wish you could trade in your download games, for other games, or how that money could have been spent elsewhere under better means or circumstances.

When comes time to go to the doctor, or go traveling you will be thinking, "man oh man, I wish I had never brought that download pay crap". At least with my hard-soft I have something to barter with.

Are you actually serious? Oh so I have a PS4, which is the BEST console and gaming I have ever experienced, but applying your logic I should just put that away and let it collect dust and get me an old outdated NES because supposedly vintage is better? Also no, I am not a Gamestop employee or developer rep trying to make you buy something. How are you to know what my circumstances are? If I am happy with buying a digital download of a game then that is my business, no I don't care that I can't trade that, I went into it knowing very well that I cannot, and guess what, I don't really care because it's not like you get much money back for trading games in anyway.

Honestly your whole argument is invalid, games that are sold digitally are there for people's convenience of not having to go to the store and being able to purchase it right there in their living room. It also makes less well renown titles, mainly indie games a chance to get some recognition and sales as they won't get a physical copy.

Just because you have a problem with it and think that because companies do this they are some big evil corporations just makes you sound deluded. I think you'd be better off going and joining one of those conspiracy forums instead of here, something tells me you'd really fit in well at these places.

The best in yourrrr.....lifetime, is the way I see it. What is so awesome about the PS4. I have heard the same maniaphile rubbish, from every single new game system released. Wake up, the PS4 is basically another poor peoples, PC setup, and your just playing along with SONY, and whoever else will follow the leader game. I will admit, between the current three game systems, the PS4 "should be the best", but looking at that Wii-U, and all the little things they are doing, it looks like more people will be having more online fun. What offsets me from the PS4, is a TOS agreement, which I should not have to sign, unless I am paying money, through credit card, or something like that. The first thing I should not see, when I boot up a PS4, is a TOS agreement, or update requests.

but applying your logic I should just put that away and let it collect dust and get me an old outdated NES because supposedly vintage is better?
Well I am not saying that, at all, I am saying hey if this was Japan, it would not matter. In fact it has become a problem over their with retailers, because people prefer the earlier stuff, then the new. America and Europe are basically paying the expensive bill for Japanese gamers. Right now buying a $5 PS3, is probably ten times better then paying full on for something, that is lacking support.

Also no, I am not a Gamestop employee or developer rep trying to make you buy something. How are you to know what my circumstances are?
Well you might as be a representative, because that is what you are doing. Making it easier for them to forces their horse rubbish down our throats. I want to be amazed, by the actual game itself, not by lame award content, achievements, or Easter eggs of a game. Have you been in these stores, I mean like just one day to visit as many of these stores. The people obviously do not want to be their, and the action is so lame, and just to make things even worst, they do not even care about the community. These place are run like filthy version of a Fast Food store. If they had requirements, for hardware and software stores, they all would get a F, and be shutdown. In fact that is the ultimate goal, find ways to shut stores down, so big heartless business can continue to sell you crap, you do not need.

Big time Devers do not care anymore like they did. All they care about is getting paid. It is a heartless job, with little success or achievements. You have looney tunes trying to act like Steve Jobs, looking like a shallow business, not the Jean wearing crap of yester years.

If I am happy with buying a digital download of a game then that is my business, no I don't care that I can't trade that, I went into it knowing very well that I cannot, and guess what, I don't really care because it's not like you get much money back for trading games in anyway.
Imagine dropping dead for no reason, and you just spent your last cent, on a couple of games. You have nothing else in your name, and no savings. What could they salvage. A person could sell their previous game systems.

I live in a 1st world nation, not a 3rd world nation, where people live in mountains, make flat bread, live in garbage dumps, and even bath in waste water. In a 1st world, capital is power, and by that I mean to say my purchase. I have become savy about what I pick up from the store. Knowing full well the person I am buying it from, might not even give me a job, if I was the last person on the planet. For me that is just greedy, being unable to own something I just brought. It is not a damn glass of milk we are talking about. Packaging is part of products, and they do count. I know that feeling, on not being able to own anything of real value, but with my media content, the last thing I need to do is pay for a download. I will admit, as I have admit, and continue to do so. I buy all my games from importing, and when I do not, do that, I can shop at my local moms and pops stores. Not just the big gigantic megalowmart.

Okay it is no excuse not to own the actual content, for resell. Making illegal copies is one thing, but just selling the data, is bogus, and no good. Not for me, my children, your children, or anybodys loved ones at all.

What if the product never have a body? Well that is the sellers problem. Look print is affordable, they just do not want to do it, because the consumer "us" know they can get away with it. It is like taking candy from a baby, but that candy is hard earn money, and the baby is left with tears.

    .........

Honestly your whole argument is invalid, games that are sold digitally are there for people's convenience of not having to go to the store and being able to purchase it right there in their living room.
    1. It shutdowns businesses like Blockbuster, and takes away from the community as a whole.
    2. It is for people in 3rd world nations like, any place where people do not buy anything but they have their cell phone subscription, so why not.
    3. It is for people who are filled with hate, for everybody they come into contact with.
    4. It is for people who can't stand to be disrespected anymore.
    5. It is for wino's pussy wuss babies, who hates seeing people have a job "A whole floor room, of employees, and not a single one is doing anything, says the 40+ year old man"
    6. It is for the racist, people, who just can't stand seeing people, of other races getting money.
    7. It is for the military person, who is too empty headed, to think about consumer affairs. So they download the product ( which should be free in the military ), and carry on.

That is what DLC is for. Not for the person with some money, and a roof, and could have something to hold on to.

It also makes less well renown titles, mainly indie games a chance to get some recognition and sales as they won't get a physical copy.
That is a lie. With that list I just mentioned, your basically buying shareware. They all know it too. That is called the publisher, and the publisher is expecting a return, from the money they spend....publishing the game itself. A game could also be "self-published". They know it. Yeah it gives the chance to reach out to parents, children, and people who just do not want to own anything at all.

Just because you have a problem with it and think that because companies do this they are some big evil corporations just makes you sound deluded. I think you'd be better off going and joining one of those conspiracy forums instead of here, something tells me you'd really fit in well at these places.
It is not a conspiracy, it is a fact. Parents do not have ability, or too little time to care, so they just buy whatever they can get their hands on, give it to their kids, and be done with it. Because everybody has a radiation phone, they just decide to be cheap. Soo cheap, they could buy all the crappy clothing they want. So cheap, they make excuses for cigarettes, and beer, so broke, they whine and whine about it, so they complain about gas. I am tired of the bullcrap. Our "videogames" is being disrespected, and walked all over, like how people dehumanize each other, while a product, I expect to have something in my and your hands, that is tangible. Anybody defending the idea of DLC, as a product, might as well charge money for air ( which they do in Casino's ).

Fine support this rubbish. The game is on two good systems. One that could be "upscaled" if you really need it that badly on an exhd display. Otherwise it is what it is, and is how it should be meant to be enjoyed. Not made difficult.

To Quote that X-box nut, "deal with it", because it is going to cost more money to port a game, and not expect people to buy the thing.
