    Dropped PSP in water

    Hi,
A terrible thing happened to me today, i accidently dropped my psp into a sink full of water.
I let it dry all day long and now i tried to turn it on but the screen doesnt work and the green power light does not go on either, but i can still hear the little tune that plays when you turn on your psp, and i can scroll around in the menu and listen to music but without the screen. I purchased my psp in japan
a couple months before release date in europe.
do you think i can send my psp back to sony and get a new one? i don't think they will notice that it got wet.
could anybody please tell me where to call or what to do to get a new one. i can't read the waranty that i got with my psp since its all in japanese.
    please please help me.
    thank you

I would think Sony would replace it if you have proof of purchase, but what do I know. :?

Why would you have your PSP around a sink of water?

Ya, but like he said would they even know he dropped it in water? He could just say that the screen just went blank for no apparent reason.

how old are you guys? you act like your five.

sony might be able to tell if it was dropped in water or not. try emailing them and ask what you would have to do to get a new one.
